One of the first models of IMCO, 1920

Name: IMCO
Type: gasoline lighter
Material: Copper
Year: 1920
Country: Austria
Approximate cost: $ 40-100

This is one of the earliest models of the lighter IMCO, patented in 1912 and originally produced about 1920 - very rare model in-one kit! It cap has not yet been equipped with the lifting bracket, so it can be operated only with two hands. In this instance preserved even more rare original leather case.

And - in my opinion it's still the second or third, in the early cap had longer uh ... "legs" on the sides and there was no windbreaks.
Even more strange that here stands shtatovskih patent - have not seen it on any modelke.

Ure, judging by this poster: http://www.johnfloresgraphics.com/CLimco.html it's still the first model (judging by the length of the wick and the cap on the proportions of a silicon tube).

About the patent. I believe that this YMCA was made for export to the U.S., so it is worth _amerikanskiy_ patent from April 2, 1912, which appears on so many brands of lighters that time. A «MEB» (I do not remember how to immediately stands) is not a manufacturer, a firm that imported into the U.S. and German avstryiskie lighters that time. This abbreviation, and this patent is from 2 April 1912 to meet dozens of lighters various manufacturers. But on a silicon tube Set original Austrian patent.
