This model - one of the most mysterious in the line of gasoline Ronson mid-20th century. It was invented and patented by the designer of Art Metal Works Frederick Kaupmannom in 1945, and legend says that this is why this model is not bears the name «Ronson» - as all other models of that time were invented and patented by Louis Aronson. I know of two kinds of Rama-Spin, one released until a patent is obvious in 1945 or early 1946, and the other after, and is on the bottom of the patent number D145218. These models are not only inscribed on the bottom, including the designation of the manufacturer, but also other small construction details. Photos supplied in pairs: the old (before 1946) and new (1946 and later) model.
