    The sleeve is also interesting. This 37mm Gochkiss for gun Mle 1885 marking PD.Ps - is Parc d'Artillerie de Paris, 6,12,14 - it is still the date of manufacture.

    The sleeve, at least (or rather, the shell itself) was made by the French for the French. But it could be used anywhere in the PRC - up to the Soviet Union after the revolution. 37h95 was a very common type of ammunition at the time of the naval guns to arms zeppelins and airplanes.
