Lighter Century, 1942-1945

Type: Gas Lighter
Material: Steel
Year: 1942-1945
Country: United States
Average price: $ 15-50
Lighter Century - fliptop typical of the Second World War, was produced for the U.S. Army. It is made of steel and coated with a characteristic surface crackle green or brownish-gray color. Some specimens have inscriptions and CENTURY USA on windshield, and some do not have any labels.
The last instance is particularly interesting and keeps the spirit of its former owner, an American soldier or officer who scratched on the body of his beloved name: «MY ETHEL DEAR».
